The Hornsby Amateur Swim Club, meets every Friday night throughout the Summer season (Sept-March).

Our Club Championships are held in March.

Friday night racing starts at 7.00pm. We would like all swimmers to arrive at the pool before 6.30pm, so they can sign in their events for the night.

Each week, we race 3 different strokes + a long distance event (either 200 Choice or Individual Medley). We also have a weekly relay challenge, where teams compete on a handicap basis.

On Friday nights, swimmers swim against club members of similar times, not ages. Swimmers times and PB's are recorded every Friday night.

Most Friday nights we run a BBQ and sell soft drinks.

We are a family oriented club and welcome all ages and abilities. Many of our members are mums and dads. Come and join us and get fit while having fun.

We run an annual Primary Schools Carnival each year in November where we encourage swimmers to come and swim for their school. Ribbons are awarded for the first three places in each event.

The district that we compete in is Metro North West.

Metro North West  holds two Championships each year, 1 Long Course for Summer (50m pool) and 1 Short Course for Winter (25m). We encourage all members to compete in at least one of these carnivals as it is a lot of fun and it a good introduction into the carnival scene.
